bio

I am a filmmaker, writer, and performance artist based in the unceded traditional territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations, also referred to as Vancouver.

My work is exploratory, process driven, expressionistic, and comedic. I like to play with where reality meets fantasy.

I hold Brazilian and Uruguayan (and Canadian) citizenships and grew up there as well as in the Netherlands and the United Arab Emirates before moving to Canada.

I graduated from the Film Production program at Simon Fraser University in 2023 where I spent a lot of time in the Performance and Theatre program.

My grad thesis film, Going Back to Meet the World, premiered at the Festival du Nouveau Cinema in Montreal in October 2022. It won the Grand Prize at the Rencontres Pancanadiennes du Cinéma Étudiant (RPCÉ).

I am currently an Associate Artist for Leaky Heaven Performance Society. I am also on the board at The Russian Hall, located in Strathcona.

Before all this, I worked as a marketing manager in the software sales industry. I also hold a Bachelor’s of Business Administration from Simon Fraser University with majors in Finance and Communications.
